We believe that
mothers are the guardians of Nigeria's health, so this project gives
women the skills and resources to teach and empower their families
towards healthy lifestyles in an age of HIV. This programme provides
a call to action to women for restoring family health and
self-sufficiency.
Goal: Empowered mothers as guardians of
family reproductive health. |

Courage to Change |
|
 |
We notice that
men are often absent from HIV education programmes, testing and
treatment. This programme challenges men to play their part in the
fight against AIDS in Nigeria by being part of SW programmes, and
encouraging them to change their risky behaviours and participate as
mentors in the development of young people in their homes and
communities.
Goal: Inspired, informed and empowered
men for improved reproductive health. |

More than half the
population in Nigeria is under 15. Helping uninfected children and
youth stay uninfected is critical to stemming the HIV/AIDS epidemic
and to economic and social development in Nigeria. CHILD is STILL
WATERS’s reproductive health programme targeted at children aged
4-14 years, providing them with lifeskills and age-appropriate sex
education through integrated activities.
Goal:
Promote the
wellbeing of children through information, skills building and
resource provision. |
